Guacharaca player for Carmelo Torres y Los Toscos. Mario is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and researcher of the traditional tropical sounds that comprise the colombian musical tradition. He is known for being among the first musicians of his generation to really go deep in to the cumbia sounds,  trying to understand cumbia not only as the musical genre but as the social texture that crosses all latin-america.  He is an avid vinyl collector an the bass player and leader for Ondatrópica, Los Pirañas and Frente Cumbiero.
